CheΕ‚minek (deutsch Leitholm) ist eine Insel im Stettiner Haff (Zalew SzczeciΕ„ski), Polen. Sie liegt am Ausgang des Papenwassers (Roztoka OdrzaΕ„ska), dem MΓΌndungstrichter der Oder (Odra) ins Haff. Direkt westlich verlΓ€uft die Hauptschifffahrtsroute zwischen dem Haff und dem Stettiner Hafen.

Die Insel wurde in der zweiten HΓ€lfte des 19. Jahrhunderts kΓΌnstlich aufgeschΓΌttet, um die Versandung der von Stettin nach SwinemΓΌnde fΓΌhrenden Fahrrinne zu verhindern. Sie ist unbewohnt, an ihrer Nord- und SΓΌdspitze sind Leuchtfeuer angebracht.

Mit Brysna und ŚmiΔ™cka entstanden zu Beginn der 2020er-Jahre nΓΆrdlich von CheΕ‚minek zwei weitere kΓΌnstliche Inseln im Stettiner Haff.cite-ref-1[1]
